PBC Hanamatsuri 2025

This year, PBC will observe its combined Hanamatsuri and April Shotsuki Hoyo service on Sunday, April13th at 10:00 a.m.  Hanamatsuri, also known as the Flower Festival, celebrates the birth of Siddhartha Gautama who became the historical Buddha.  Each year, members of our temple come together to prepare the Hanamido which is a small pavilion adorned with flowers and filled with sweet tea.  We pour the sweet tea over the infant Buddha as we Gassho.  We are honored to have Rev. Yuki Sugahara officiate this special service and look forward to seeing everyone!
